Lakshmi Charan – The Sacred Footprints of Goddess Lakshmi

$ 500

Lakshmi Charan, meaning the sacred footprints of Goddess Lakshmi, holds special significance in Hindu religious traditions as a symbol of divine presence, prosperity and auspiciousness. Particularly associated with Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, these footprints are traditionally drawn near the entrances of homes and directed inwards to symbolise welcoming Goddess Lakshmi and seeking her blessings for the household. Revered as the goddess of wealth, fortune and abundance, Lakshmi is worshipped with prayers for happiness, well-being and prosperity. The accompanying lotus motifs further reflect her divine association with purity, beauty and auspiciousness. Crafted in brass and presented on a wooden base, this artwork brings together traditional Indian symbolism and craftsmanship, representing the enduring cultural practice of welcoming divine blessings and celebrating prosperity.
